# Refund

If you deposit ETH into the smart contract and an error occurs that prevents the creation of an ETH Validator, your ETH will remain in the smart contract. You can request a refund through the **My Validators** menu.\
\
To process the refund, you must use either the **deposit wallet address** or the **withdrawal wallet address**. This operation does not require any gas fees. Once you sign a message to confirm your address, the principal amount of ETH will be automatically returned to your **withdrawal wallet address**.

⏳ **Please wait at least 15 blocks (\~3 minutes)** after your staking transaction is confirmed before initiating a refund. This ensures the contract has processed your deposit and is ready for refund actions.
