# Service fee

ContributionDAO charges a **10% service fee** on rewards earned from the **Execution Layer (EL)**.

This fee is automatically deducted and sent to the ContributionDAO fee address (0xDD4eAcc16287b00C1a5cD23b943101Db0ff9D2A4) when a user **initiates a validator exit**. The remaining rewards and principal are returned to the user.
